What is PDF format

The format "PDF" is Short for Portable Document Format, a file format that created by Adobe Systems in 1993 for desktop publishing, PDF is used to represent two-dimensional documents in a manner independent of the application software, hardware, and operating system. It is now generally used in exchanging information and distributing document as the possibility to send formatted documents and have them appear on the recipient's monitor or printer.
